About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners regarding client needs and recommended product services
- Complete required licenses and trainings
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined within reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If holding only Series 63 or Series 65, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Required SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Effective communication and client engagement skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn, adapt to new information, and identify solutions for clients
- Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Open availability Monday-Friday plus some Saturdays
- 40 hours per week
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are desired
- Insurance licenses are desired
