Financial Solutions Advisor – Partially Licensed

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with affluent and high-net-worth clients in a Merrill branch
- Identify client needs and develop relationships
- Review investment goals and prepare aligned investment recommendations
- Provide tailored and personalized advice through reviews and presentations
- Partner with management to assess financial goals and recommend investment advisory strategies
- Understand and connect clients with banking, investment, and Life Priority solutions
- Shadow Financial Advisor teams and share relevant market developments and new products
- Leverage technology and available resources to optimize customer experience and operational accuracy
- Participate in ongoing training to develop a book of business and meet financial targets
- Build relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Proactively manage risk across business, product, and service transactions
- Develop relationship-management skills for an Elite Growth Practice
- Build a network and sustainable book of business
- Progress through the Advisor Development Program toward becoming an independent financial advisor
- Lead client and conference seminars
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
- 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience
- 2+ years of experience in the investments industry
- Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within allotted program time
- Self-starter who efficiently manages time and capacity
- Sets and accomplishes goals
- Builds and nurtures strong relationships
- Collaborates effectively with others
- Communicates effectively and confidently and is comfortable engaging all clients
- Manages goals, navigates complexity, prioritizes tasks, and executes in a fast-paced environment
- Adapts to new information and seeks the right solutions for clients
- Incorporates relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies for clients
- Experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business-related field
- Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation
- Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC
- Insurance licenses
