About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with high-net-worth individuals to identify needs, develop relationships, review financial goals, and deliver comprehensive recommendations
- Develop a book of business to meet and exceed established performance hurdles
- Source prospective clients, capitalize on referrals, assess customer needs, refer customers to internal specialists, and execute customized solutions
- Recommend suitable investment products and services based on client objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile, and preferences
- Balance investment growth, referral activities, customer follow-up, prospect building, administrative compliance, and professional development
- Organize and manage time, people, and budget to run a productive practice
- Seek specialist expertise to identify planning and investment strategies
- Complete mandated training, assessments, performance goals, and continuing education
- Provide tailored advice through client reviews and presentations
- Partner with management to assess financial goals and recommend investment advisory strategies
- Understand and recommend core banking, investment, and Life Priority solutions
- Shadow Financial Advisor teams and share relevant market developments and product information
- Leverage technology and available resources to optimize customer experience and operational accuracy
- Participate in training to develop a book of business and progress to the next advisor phase
- Build relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Proactively manage risk across business, product, and service transactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
- 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience
- 2+ years experience in investments industry
- Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within allotted program time
- Self-starter who efficiently manages time and capacity
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information and seek the right solutions for clients
- Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence
- Experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred
- Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation
- Experience balancing investment management, sales activities and new client development
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC preferred
- Insurance licenses preferred
- Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements and background check
- Must comply with applicable FDIC, SAFE Act, Loan Originators, and FINRA hiring restrictions
