About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through structured lessons and dedicated study time
- Build business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Cultivate, build, and manage client relationships
- Provide comprehensive end-to-end financial advice
- Deliver client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill banking and investment solutions
- Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location is determined
- Work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays on a 40-hour-per-week schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and ongoing good standing required
- High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired qualification)
- Spanish speaking (desired qualification)
