About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Triage client leads and requests
- Refer clients to appropriate internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals and recommend products
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center is determined
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
- FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) is desired
- Must complete required licenses and trainings
- Must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing under SAFE Act requirements
- Must submit to the required SAFE Act background check
- Must work within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned financial center, as applicable
