About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
  • Code solutions and perform unit testing according to acceptance and compliance requirements
  • Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Integrate solutions into overall applications and systems using clear, robust, well-tested interfaces
  • Utilize architectural components across data, application, and business domains
  • Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) activities
  • Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition
  • Estimate work needed to deliver stories and requirements
  • Contribute to integration, regression, and performance test suites
  • Analyze test reports, identify issues and errors, and triage underlying causes
  • Perform spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate risk and implement new ideas
  • Work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Java/J2EE
  • Object-oriented design and programming
  • Spring; Spring Batch or Spring Integration; Spring Boot is a plus
  • At least one ORM/persistence framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, Kafka, or JPA
  • SOA, REST/SOAP web services, microservices, CXF, JAX-WS/JAX-RS, JSON, and XML
  • Source control: Bitbucket, Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar
  • Maven, test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), JUnit, and Mockito
  • Eclipse, RAD, or another IDE
  • At least one RDBMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server
  • Agile/iterative development and full SDLC development
  • At least one RIA framework: jQuery, Angular, YUI, Ext JS, Dojo, or Vue.js
  • Front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax, and SASS
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely verbally and in written/presentation format
  • Ability to work in a supportive and transparent team environment
  • Ability to research and resolve issues independently
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage and influence teams across technology and business
  • 1st shift availability in the United States of America
  • 40 hours per week
