About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple operations segments or divisions for a site, region, product line, or business group within the bank’s internal operations
- Resolve broad operational issues and ensure compliance with policies
- Lead implementation of opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency
- Coordinate activities and processes with Lines of Business and other operations segments
- Manage two or more levels of managers
- Serve as primary liaison for designated business partners
- Manage ongoing engagement, communications, meetings, and follow-up activities
- Advise senior leaders and provide timely updates on priorities, risks, and issues
- Translate business priorities into coordinated cross-functional actions, deliverables, and issue resolution
- Own intake and coordination for client escalations and drive issues toward resolution
- Monitor commitments and ensure functional owners remain accountable for execution
- Recommend process, control, and collaboration improvements based on recurring themes and stakeholder feedback
- Align Business Partner strategies with Operations priorities, plans, investments, and roadmaps
- Maintain visibility into strategic initiatives, transformation programs, AI adoption, platform modernization, and organizational changes
- Address misalignment, overlapping initiatives, conflicting priorities, and competing investment decisions
- Promote common solutions, shared capabilities, AI initiatives, and best practices across business lines and operations teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Clear and professional communication with senior leaders and business partners
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive issues
- Strong coordination, organization, and follow-through across multiple priorities
- Ability to work across functional boundaries and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Problem-solving skills focused on ownership, accountability, and timely resolution
- Ability to identify patterns, connect related issues, and surface improvement opportunities
- Ability to translate business needs into clear actions, owners, and next steps
- Comfort managing escalations, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables
- Global Credit Operations knowledge and/or experience (desired)
- Understanding of LoanIQ, Credit Center, GFS, Alfa, Stucky, or other common Global Credit Operations platforms (desired)
- Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
- 40 hours per week
