About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support execution of substantive money laundering, economic sanctions, and fraud compliance and operational risk practices
  • Assist Global Financial Crimes executives and managers with identifying, escalating, and mitigating compliance and operational risks
  • Support Global Financial Crimes Quality Control automation initiatives
  • Partner with business, technology, and operational teams to design, test, implement, and monitor automated solutions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and promote standardization across Global Financial Crimes quality review activities
  • Support development and maintenance of financial crimes-owned policies and standards
  • Review Front Line Units and Control Functions-owned policies and standards for regulatory and operational risk coverage
  • Assist with independent financial crimes risk management reporting to senior leaders
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise business leaders on required policy, standards, procedure, and process updates
  • Contribute to risk coverage plans and execute independent risk monitoring, testing, and risk assessments
  • Escalate financial crimes compliance and operational risks and issues to governance routines and senior committees
  • Identify, aggregate, report, and escalate remediation and thematic analysis of issues and control enhancements
  • Review internal and external operational loss events and help develop remediation plans and control improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of business and functional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in financial services and/or a related government entity (desired)
