About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support execution of substantive money laundering, economic sanctions, and fraud compliance and operational risk practices
- Support Global Financial Crimes executives and managers in identifying, escalating, and mitigating compliance and operational risks
- Develop and maintain financial crimes-owned policies and standards
- Review Front Line Units/Control Functions-owned policies and standards for regulatory and operational risk coverage
- Produce independent financial crimes risk management reporting for senior leaders
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise business leaders on required policy, standard, procedure, and process updates
- Contribute to risk coverage plans, independent risk monitoring, testing, and risk assessments
- Escalate financial crimes compliance and operational risks and issues to governance routines and senior committees
- Identify, aggregate, report, and escalate remediation and thematic analysis of issues and control enhancements
- Review internal and external operational loss events and develop remediation plans
- Provide oversight of remediation activities
- Perform daily workforce management support, including scheduling offline activities in NICE IEX, processing SharePoint intake requests, and managing Agent Webstation transactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of business and functional experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Financial services and/or related government entity experience desired
- 2 years of financial crimes investigations experience desired
- Knowledge of NICE IEX platform
- Knowledge of Management of Cases (MOC) application
