Key responsibilities & impact

Define, lead and execute the multi-year transformation of the Global Trade business within Global Payments Solutions
Own the transformation strategy and execution framework
Develop investment and funding strategy
Lead target operating and service model implementation
Drive technology modernization and migration from legacy Trade platforms
Identify and champion digital, data, automation, AI and emerging-technology opportunities
Develop strategic relationships with technology providers, FinTechs and ecosystem participants
Lead pilot-client strategy, commercialization and adoption of new digital capabilities
Drive organizational readiness and adoption across the transformation
Establish executive-level transparency across delivery, investment, risk and dependencies
Ensure realization of financial and non-financial transformation benefits
Align Product, Operations, Technology, Service, Sales and regional stakeholders around a common roadmap
Deliver a more digital, data-led, automated and scalable Trade business

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive transformation leadership experience within a large, complex financial institution
Strong Trade Finance and working-capital domain expertise, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees/Standbys, Supply Chain Finance, Open Account and Receivables Finance
Proven ability to translate strategy into execution through multi-year roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, delivery models, governance structures, resource strategies and measurable outcomes
Significant experience across Product, Operations and Technology
Demonstrated technology-transformation experience, including platform modernization, technology integration, client and process migration, and legacy application retirement
Strong target-operating-model expertise
Demonstrated digitization and automation experience, including digital, data-led and straight-through processing
Strong financial and commercial acumen and experience constructing major transformation business cases
Experience securing and managing significant multi-year transformation investment
Proven global leadership across multiple regions, legal entities and organizational structures
Strong change-management capabilities
Demonstrated senior stakeholder management and executive influence
Strong risk and control orientation within a highly regulated environment
Excellent executive communication skills
Proven leadership and talent-development capabilities
Deep understanding of the global Trade Finance ecosystem
Experience with Trade Finance and transaction-banking platforms and providers such as Finastra, FIS and IBM
Knowledge of AI-enabled Trade capabilities, ERP and client-connectivity models, APIs and integration strategies
Experience creating or leading a Transformation Office / Transformation Management Office
Experience with complex client and portfolio migrations and legacy platform decommissioning
Experience developing digital-first service models
Strong understanding of data as a transformation asset
Experience evaluating build, buy and partner strategies and managing strategic third-party relationships
Strong knowledge of transformation economics and benefits realization
Demonstrated ability to commercialize new capabilities and scale global adoption
Strong external orientation and knowledge of emerging technologies and competitive developments
Ability to operate in an executive-level global matrix
Strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, execution intensity and constructive challenge
