About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop HR strategies affecting large, complex business units within a major Line of Business
- Develop and execute tactical plans at the business-unit level to achieve strategic objectives and organizational effectiveness
- Drive HR activities across talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, and employee engagement and development
- Build management capability and effectiveness among mid-level managers in Global Operations
- Identify gaps and opportunities, develop solutions, and execute action plans producing measurable results
- Connect with managers on priorities including declining performance, employee engagement, career pathing, and new-manager onboarding
- Conduct one-to-one and small-group coaching sessions for new, high-potential, and other identified managers
- Connect managers to enterprise resources and training and reinforce sustainable behavior changes
- Provide consolidated feedback to the enterprise manager development team and HR leadership
- Track and measure the impact of manager interventions
- Manage Enterprise and Line of Business HR priorities and organizational effectiveness
- Apply operational excellence, organizational health, opportunity, and inclusion across HR processes
- Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor to align programs and practices with Enterprise culture and conduct principles
- Manage workforce activities including headcount reporting and analytics, financials/expenses, promotions, opportunity and inclusion, performance, and talent management
- Collaborate on employee compensation guidance while maintaining focus on expense management
- Use HR reporting tools to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of HR or Management experience with broad expertise across all areas of HR disciplines
- Effective coaching skills and techniques
- Experience working directly with and consulting business leaders on HR strategy
- Proven track record utilizing information to develop and execute strategy producing significant business results
- Experience in client management around complex strategic HR issues such as talent management, development and change management
- Strong analytical skills and experience gathering and organizing large amounts of data
- Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to develop interpersonal alliances at all levels
- Ability to connect with senior executives on business and personal levels
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering organizational development/effectiveness initiatives
- Broad business acumen with a strategic mindset
- Demonstrated ability as an enterprise/global thought leader driving change and innovation
- Experience leading talent planning initiatives, including critical assessment of talent and resource rationalization
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Tableau, and learning resources
- High integrity and objectivity; ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion
- Strong project/process management and facilitation skills
- Ability to prioritize work and deliver consistent results
- International Coaching Federation (IFC) Certification desired
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired
