About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop HR strategies for large, complex business units within a major Line of Business
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to achieve strategic objectives and organizational effectiveness
  • Drive HR activities including talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, employee engagement, and development
  • Manage strategic delivery of Enterprise and Line of Business HR priorities
  • Ensure organizational effectiveness across talent acquisition, performance management, talent development and learning, succession planning, and compensation
  • Apply operational excellence, organizational health, opportunity, and inclusion lenses across HR people processes
  • Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor to align programs and practices with Enterprise culture and conduct principles
  • Manage and influence workforce activities including headcount reporting and analytics, financials and expenses, promotions, performance, talent management, and cross-HR initiatives
  • Collaborate with compensation, talent acquisition, and business partners on employee compensation guidance and expense management
  • Use HR reporting tools to inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead and participate in Line of Business HR initiatives
  • Serve as a member of the Consumer Banking HR team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience in client management around complex strategic HR issues, including talent management, employee relations, organizational design/development, change management, and headcount
  • Experience consulting with senior business leaders on HR strategy and building partnerships across Talent, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Relations, Shared Services, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Strategic enterprise/global mindset to proactively drive change, support business results, and execute initiatives
  • Ability to influence using technical HR expertise, verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, and relationship skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience developing problem statements, fact finding, and data-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated project management, analytical, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience managing in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment
  • HR generalist experience
  • Knowledge of operating in a large operations team and regulatory environment is a plus
  • Experience leading projects
  • AI-first approach to generalist work
  • Business acumen with a risk management mindset
  • 40 hours per week availability
