About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a member of the GIS Vulnerability Identification team
  • Provide end-to-end technology enablement for the global Vulnerability Identification program
  • Plan, design, test, and deploy tactical and strategic vulnerability identification solutions
  • Continuously improve vulnerability detection capabilities across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions
  • Partner with solution vendors and technology infrastructure partners to tailor future solutions
  • Collaborate across organizations to solve enterprise-impacting issues
  • Manage, optimize, and ensure resiliency of vulnerability scanning platforms
  • Map vulnerability identification gaps to remedial technology solutions
  • Maintain relationships with vulnerability management solution providers and technology implementation partners
  • Track, resolve, and report technology-based thematic issues
  • Participate in Vulnerability Identification Incident Management and Response
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Develop and execute the vulnerability identification technology strategy
  • Conduct proof-of-concept testing and validation of emerging vulnerability identification technologies
  • Deliver periodic project updates to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in information security
  • 4–7 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in Vulnerability Management and Exposure Management programs, including Qualys and Tanium
  • Strong proficiency in Qualys Query Language (QQL) and Qualys Agent Deployment (QAD)
  • Hands-on experience with Tanium and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on business risk, exploitability, and threat intelligence
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on vulnerability findings, scan coverage gaps, agent deployment issues, false positives/negatives, and remediation failures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical security findings into business risk and executive-level insights
  • Experience with integrating vulnerability identification tools with vulnerability management workflows such as ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  • Experience deploying and managing cloud-based vulnerability scanning solutions
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations, frameworks, and certifications such as NIST and FFIEC
  • Working knowledge of network architecture and engineering concepts
  • Experience with vulnerability rating methodologies
  • Background in Windows and UNIX platform administration
  • Experience with scripting languages or Power BI
  • Ability to work from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm
