About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, support, and optimize the Dynatrace monitoring platform
Deploy, configure, and upgrade OneAgent and ActiveGate
Monitor Dynatrace environment health and performance and proactively resolve issues
Troubleshoot incidents involving Dynatrace monitoring, integrations, and data collection
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to onboard services and optimize monitoring coverage
Configure custom dashboards, alerts, synthetic monitors, and management zones
Maintain Dynatrace configuration, process, and troubleshooting documentation
Stay current with Dynatrace product updates, best practices, and features
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience supporting Dynatrace or similar APM platforms (AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.)
Strong understanding of Dynatrace architecture, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Cluster components
Experience deploying and managing monitoring agents on Linux and Windows servers
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker
Proficiency troubleshooting application and infrastructure performance issues using Dynatrace
Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM, alerting, and automation tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and PagerDuty
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python are a plus
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desired, or equivalent experience
Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is desired
Experience with synthetic monitoring, log monitoring, and custom metric ingestion in Dynatrace is desired
Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management best practices is desired
Ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
