About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage collateralized debt obligations and issue tracker reports to perfect, monitor, and release bank collateral
  • Maintain accurate collateral booking on the system of record
  • Set up and standardize collateral files
  • Prepare and review tickler and exception tracking data
  • Review insurance adequacy and monitor evidence of insurance
  • Maintain and/or release lien positions for collateral
  • Receive incoming loan files and review them for compliance with bank and federal guidelines
  • Maintain relationships with Relationship Administrators to support efficient, high-quality loan processing
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to business units and interdisciplinary teams on projects
  • Maintain systems of record for ongoing collateral and insurance monitoring
  • Support timely and accurate release of commercial loan collateral, including real estate, UCCs, vehicle liens, and life insurance
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence using systems of record and legal loan documentation
  • Prepare lien releases, validate workflow approvals, communicate with internal and external clients, and update systems of record
  • Work in a paperless environment and adhere to compliance guidelines
  • Promote collaboration, communicate with impact, learn and adapt quickly, and uphold high performance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have credit agreement or legal documentation knowledge
  • Must have previous banking experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to work independently with little management supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with LoanIQ (desired)
  • Experience with CreditCenter (desired)
  • Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and loan accounting systems
  • Experience preparing real estate, UCC, or other collateral documents
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients
  • Well organized and efficient; adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
