About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the overall service delivery model, including digital offerings and wealth management banking strategy in the market
- Work with the Home Office to ensure superior client service
- Partner with market leadership, Market Executives, Resident Directors, Financial Advisors, Wealth Management Client Associates, and Wealth Management Associates
- Drive responsible growth while minimizing regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks
- Manage Wealth Management Client Associates, Operations support staff, and the branch operations department
- Execute Market Strategy Plans
- Partner with advisor teams to deliver a branded client service model focused on digital solutions and enterprise capabilities
- Serve as Lead and Referral Coordinator for the market and manage market expenses
- Support development of Elite Growth Practice roles, Wealth Management Client Associates, and Operations staff
- Manage branch Wealth Management Client Associates and Service Support Staff
- Oversee daily Merrill branch operations, supervision, compliance, policies, and procedures
- Drive business growth through the service delivery model and wealth management banking strategy
- Hire, develop, and lead cross-functional professionals supporting Financial Advisor teams
- Coach teams on a modern, digital-first service model and operational excellence
- Resolve complex, escalated client service and operational needs
- Represent the office and Merrill with clients, prospects, recruits, vendors, regulators, and outside legal counsel
- Identify opportunities to connect Financial Advisors and clients to the broader enterprise
- Manage processes, data, risk, talent, budgets, and business outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently hold FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65), Series 9 and 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses and Series 3, 31 licenses, if warranted
- Minimum of five years of professional experience
- Current or previous Merrill Wealth Management experience strongly preferred
- Self-motivated and client centric
- Expert knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements and corporate policies and procedures
- Investment product knowledge, including 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, and Trust Operations
- Prior trend analysis experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong management skills, including planning, monitoring, influencing, negotiating, supervising, and delegating
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desired
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Ability to work onsite in accordance with the workplace excellence policy if selected
