About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze day-to-day issues, research, and provide resolutions for issues identified within a business unit
  • Support defined procedures and routine analytics
  • Create reports and complete exception processing
  • Investigate OFAC alerts for domestic and international consumer, commercial, and wholesale banking businesses or service functions
  • Review and process OFAC transactions to meet compliance requirements
  • Perform item processing functions under moderate supervision within a process with built-in checks and balances
  • Ensure quality service and efficient operations support for internal business partners and/or external customers/clients
  • Perform basic-level reporting
  • Assist with implementation coordination for products, services, and operational solutions
  • Support the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services
  • Provide guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes
  • Expand business product knowledge within the operations environment
  • Build relationships with partners and teammates
  • Inspect data to identify issues and trends
  • Collect and interpret data to validate operational processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services, operations, compliance, sanctions, or a related risk management environment
  • Experience working in a highly regulated, production-driven environment with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and risk mitigation
  • Ability to remain focused in a repetitive environment
  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems while maintaining data integrity
  • Analytical and detail oriented; ability to make accurate and timely decisions
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • PC proficiency and excellent keyboarding/typing skills/data entry
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, within a team
  • Overtime as required
  • Overnight position 9pm-6am Monday night to Friday night
  • Previous Economic Sanctions, AML, Wire Transaction and/or previous Compliance experience highly desired
  • College degree or equivalent work experience desired
  • 40 hours per week
