About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Resolve complex day-to-day problems and research and execute complex transactions for a site or business unit
  • Advise on the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment
  • Advise on projects and direct team activities related to special initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise on business unit operations processes and implications for other operations groups
  • Consult on present-state processes and develop alternative future-state approaches
  • Facilitate implementations and guide program or initiative setup, execution, and control
  • Identify and recommend responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs and projects
  • Perform and ensure the effectiveness of quality assurance reviews for Syndicated and Corporate Lending Fulfillment teams
  • Interpret loan agreements and related documents
  • Verify loan agreement details and supporting documents in the system of record
  • Communicate errors to business partners and track them to resolution
  • Identify and escalate material or thematic processing issues
  • Assess QA routines and implement process improvements
  • Analyze QA data and recommend process, control, or system enhancements
  • Prepare and manage reporting on errors, issues, and remediation activities
  • Assist with complex root cause analysis
  • May manage associates, including coaching, risk management, talent development, and business outcome delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of loan structure, loan agreements and credit regulations
  • Knowledge of loan accounting and reconciliations
  • Ability to accurately interpret credit agreements and supporting loan documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to analyze QA results to identify gaps in processes or controls
  • Working knowledge of the Loan IQ application
  • Ability to identify errors and track to resolution
  • Ability to liaise across Operations and Technology teams for root cause analysis and process or system enhancements
  • 3+ years of experience working in a credit fulfilment or syndicated loan processing area (desired qualification)
  • Knowledge of Syndicated and Corporate Lending processes (desired qualification)
