About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Resolve complex problems and research and execute complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business units
Advise on the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services
Advise on projects and direct activities of teams related to special initiatives
Serve as a technical expert in the assigned area
Provide work direction, guidance, expertise, and training to less experienced associates and Business Partners
Build strong relationships with Business Partners across lines of business
Consult on present-state and develop alternative future-state approaches
Facilitate implementations by creating clear approaches for program and initiative setup, execution, and control
Identify and recommend responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs and projects
Review lease/loan documentation and pricing files for system-of-record setup
Process outgoing wires to third-party investors
Perform GL reconciliations
Calculate book balances and provide them to the line of business
Provide timely, professional, and courteous customer service
Respond to information requests and communicate issues to appropriate parties

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in General Accounting and General Ledger activity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Excellent math skills
Project management skills including high attention to detail
Critical thinking
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Time management abilities
Must be able to multitask and work well within a team setting
Prior experience with report writing tools such as TOAD & Alteryx
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
1st shift (United States of America)
Ability to work 40 hours per week
