About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Resolve complex operational problems day to day
Research and execute complex transactions for a site or business unit
Support the GPO Reconciliation COE accounting control team
Oversee initiatives related to line-of-business general ledger and bank operating accounts
Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, standards, and controls
Utilize multiple systems and tools while following established procedures and guidelines
Serve as a subject matter expert on general ledger debits, credits, and source codes
Advise on the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services
Advise on projects and direct team activities for special initiatives
Provide technical expertise on operations processes and implications for other operations groups
Develop future-state approaches and facilitate implementations
Identify and recommend responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years of operational accounting experience
Working knowledge of applicable policies and regulations
Previous experience with general ledger
Thorough understanding of debits and credits
Ability to multi-task and meet specific performance goals
Excellent problem-solving skills
Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and assertive
Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt quickly to change
Demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Excellent research, analytical, and decision-making skills
Proficient in MS Excel
1st shift availability
Ability to work 40 hours per week
