About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement business strategies by managing platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment
- Identify customer needs, work with Technology on design options, and validate concepts
- Develop business cases and conduct analyses with Technology and key operational stakeholders
- Write business and functional requirements documentation
- Build new functionality for theHUB, enhance or fix existing functionality, onboard new programs, and manage the platform’s strategic vision
- Define the strategic vision for key user experience functionalities and identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes
- Drive innovation and improve platforms used by bank employees and support organizations
- Interact with platform and process design teams to facilitate solutions and remedies for deployment risks and issues
- Lead end-to-end requirement gathering and release execution with Technology partners
- Manage User Acceptance Testing execution and document evidence of success before release
- Partner with Technology to plan, implement, and deploy business strategies
- Understand how theHUB works and how it can support new processes
- Work with Enterprise Credit process owners to develop target-state processes for onboarding onto theHUB
- Work with Global Technology to triage issues escalated by platform users
- Develop materials for stakeholders and senior leaders on theHUB’s strategic direction, functionality development progress, and system usage
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience working in the software development lifecycle
- 2+ years experience in process design
- Strong understanding of the application development process, including planning, testing, and deployment activities
- Understanding of programming concepts with some familiarity with Python, SQL, and database structures
- Able to map and understand process flows
- Able to manage projects of various sizes and complexity
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to find creative solutions for complex problems
- Self-starter able to operate comfortably in a changing environment with minimal direction
- Ability to work independently while keeping others aware of what is going on within the coverage area
- Familiarity with credit platforms such as CreditCenter, GUS, and Workplace, etc. (desired)
- Experience in Enterprise Credit (desired)
- Familiarity working with policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements (desired)
- Able to develop high quality PowerPoint presentations (desired)
- Experience using applications such as Jira and Tableau (desired)
- Able to write and/or understand SQL queries (desired)
