About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a book of high-net-worth, active self-directed clients
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients’ trading and servicing needs
  • Drive asset growth and expand client relationships through product penetration
  • Advise clients on complex trading, servicing, and relationship needs
  • Build trusted client relationships and win wallet share
  • Apply knowledge of trading mechanics, fixed income, options, margin, and margin regulations
  • Execute business development strategies and goals to achieve business growth
  • Develop knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and processes for complex trading strategies
  • Collaborate across GWIM, US Trust, Preferred Banking, and Merrill Edge teams
  • Improve processes and deliver a world-class relationship model

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3–5 years of investment, trading and brokerage experience
  • Experience with advanced trading strategies, options, fixed income, and margin
  • Series 7 and 66 licensing required
  • SAFE Act registration and good standing required
  • Ability to complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process
  • Confident and engaging presence
  • Sound decision-making skills with ability to manage risk and overall client experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Wealth management and private client experience desired
  • Knowledge of Enterprise platforms (US Trust, BAC, Advisory) desired
