About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide end-to-end, client-facing, business-aligned infrastructure engagements and delivery operations support
- Provide monitoring, incident response, problem engagement during triage, service restoration, root-cause identification, and coordination of permanent fixes
- Deliver services to internal customers to support business continuity and meet or exceed SLAs
- Collaborate with IT teams to build detection rules, automation playbooks, and dashboards
- Manage, configure, and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms, primarily Splunk
- Develop detection rules, dashboards, and automation playbooks
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify threats and reduce response times
- Resolve high-priority cybersecurity incidents and conduct post-incident reviews
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during production outages
- Lead critical outages and restore services quickly
- Track corrective actions and support compliance with security policies and audit requirements
- Drive automation and operational improvements
- Use Splunk capabilities to strengthen cyber resilience and protect financial services
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Cybersecurity Production Support / Security Operations experience
- 5+ years of production support experience with expert-level knowledge of MFA technologies, Splunk, Windows OS, SQL/Oracle databases, and Unix/Linux
- Strong experience supporting critical production environments
- Expertise in incident management, problem management, change/release management, and root cause analysis
- Experience working in 24x7 operational environments
- Experience resolving high-priority cybersecurity incidents, conducting post-incident reviews, and tracking corrective actions
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams during production outages
- Ability to lead critical outages and recover services quickly
- Experience in automation and operational improvements
- Expert hands-on knowledge of access management and entitlement technologies
- Expert-level experience with Windows OS, RedHat Linux, SQL queries, SQL/Oracle and other databases
- Knowledge of RedHat Linux OpenShift containers, Atlassian JIRA, Horizon platforms, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, ITSM Remedy, Splunk, Dynatrace, PowerShell/Unix scripting, cloud technologies, and CI/CD DevOps tools
- Mid-level experience in SIEM/SOAR administration and security operations
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, and playbooks
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, and incident response
- Excellent knowledge of Identity, Authentication and Access Management (IAM), including SRE and DevOps
- Senior-level production support and troubleshooting experience in SIEM/SOAR, Splunk, and IAM technologies
- Ability to comply with bank regulatory and compliance policies
- Expert-level Linux experience and proficiency with Splunk queries
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
- Excellent lateral and vertical communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members within or outside the group
- Availability for on-call coverage and off-hours work as needed
- CISSP or equivalent information security certification is desirable
- Strong understanding of network technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and stress
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
