About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage clients in the lobby and educate them on self-service resources
- Assist clients with mobile banking, online banking, and ATM transactions
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Conduct deep conversations to understand clients’ financial and life priorities
- Connect clients with solutions that meet their financial goals
- Execute the bank’s risk culture and strive for operational excellence
- Build client relationships to meet financial needs
- Follow established processes, guidelines, laws, and regulations
- Partner with small business, lending, and investment experts to grow business knowledge and networks
- Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls
- Drive the client experience
- Manage cash responsibilities
- Train at one financial center and potentially move to another location within a reasonable commuting distance based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships
- Passion, commitment, and drive to improve clients’ financial lives
- Confidence identifying solutions for new and existing clients
- Effective and confident communication; comfortable engaging all clients
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- Ability to educate clients on ATM, online banking, and mobile banking self-service transactions
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow established processes and guidelines and comply with laws and regulations
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services products and solutions preferred
- One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals preferred
- Six months of cash handling experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree such as business management, business administration or finance preferred
- FDIC/loan Originator hiring restrictions apply
