About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage clients in the lobby to educate and assist with transactions through mobile banking, online banking, ATM, and other self-service resources
- Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions
- Have in-depth conversations with clients about their financial and life priorities
- Connect clients to solutions that meet financial goals
- Execute the bank's risk culture and strive for operational excellence
- Build relationships with clients to meet financial needs
- Follow established processes and guidelines while adhering to applicable laws and regulations
- Grow business knowledge and network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments
- Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls
- Drive the client experience
- Manage cash responsibilities
- Train at one financial center and potentially move to another location within a reasonable commuting distance based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships
- Ability to identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- Ability to educate clients on ATM, online banking, and mobile banking self-service technologies
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow established processes and guidelines while adhering to laws and regulations
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products, and solutions is desired
- One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals is desired
- Six months of cash handling experience is desired
- Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree is desired
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Must satisfy applicable FDIC/loan originator criminal-history hiring restrictions
