About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage clients in the lobby and educate and assist them with transactions through mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs
- Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions
- Conduct deep conversations to understand clients' financial and life priorities
- Connect clients with solutions that meet their financial goals
- Execute the bank's risk culture and strive for operational excellence
- Build relationships with clients to meet financial needs
- Follow established processes, guidelines, laws and regulations
- Grow business knowledge and network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments
- Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls
- Drive the client experience
- Manage cash responsibilities
- Train at one financial center and potentially move to another location within a reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours
- May be scheduled at any financial center location within a reasonable distance
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships
- Passion, commitment and drive to improve clients' financial lives
- Confidence identifying solutions for new and existing clients
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
- Ability to educate clients on ATM, online banking, and mobile banking self-service technologies
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow established processes, guidelines, laws and regulations
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions (desired)
- One year of successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals (desired)
- Six months of cash handling experience (desired)
- Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree (desired)
