About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support reporting that enables risk and business partners to identify and manage risk
  • Analyze information for data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
  • Assist strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business
  • Provide analytical support and aggregate data using analytical techniques
  • Respond to information requests from internal and external parties
  • Assist in remediating data quality issues and cross-functional efforts
  • Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
  • Produce and maintain monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc credit risk reports
  • Execute reporting processes using SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other reporting tools
  • Extract, transform, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources
  • Perform audit-level quality assurance, data validations, and control procedures
  • Monitor portfolios for trends, anomalies, and data quality concerns
  • Partner with stakeholders and senior team members on reporting enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvement
  • Document procedures and support enterprise governance, risk, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-2+ years of Reporting, Data Management, Analytics, Risk Management, or related experience
  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform data QA, execute audit-level validations, and follow governance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Credit Risk or Consumer Lending experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
  • Knowledge of reporting lifecycle and production support processes
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts
  • Experience documenting procedures and business processes
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Experience using Agile, Jira, or other project tracking tools
  • Collaboration and partnership skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and reporting methodologies
