About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of Risk Analysis Specialists delivering data, analytics, reporting, and insights for risk management
  • Develop, execute, and enhance reporting for Risk and business partners
  • Analyze portfolio, loss, and trend data and oversee data design and portfolio dynamics
  • Partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, risk partners, and technology teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Direct development of complex databases, queries, data models, SQL-based solutions, analytical frameworks, dashboards, and reporting processes
  • Manage database production processes and performance reports for senior management
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
  • Ensure systems, analytical processes, documentation, methodologies, reporting outputs, and controls operate effectively
  • Drive continuous improvement, process automation, AI-enabled capabilities, governance, and operational efficiency
  • Coach and develop team members and establish a high-performance culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, including Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in risk analysis, data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related risk management functions
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong workload management skills and ability to prioritize competing demands, align resources, and deliver results
  • Experience managing performance, driving engagement, and fostering professional development
  • Critical thinking connecting business processes, controls, data, technology, and risk outcomes
  • Sound judgment balancing business priorities, risk considerations, and stakeholder needs
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable business insights
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Experience developing executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and narratives
  • Advanced SQL and business intelligence expertise
  • Advanced Tableau and data visualization capabilities
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality, governance, lineage, analytical controls, and reporting processes
  • Experience managing analytical delivery across multiple data sources, reporting platforms, and stakeholder groups
  • Familiarity with Bank-approved AI tools and responsible AI use
