About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
- Review and analyze portfolio trends, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and data design
- Support development and execution of reporting for Risk and business partners
- Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business
- Develop database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
- Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
- Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
- Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
- Evaluate business processes, data flows, and operational data to identify data integrity concerns, trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with business, risk, finance, operations, technology, and audit stakeholders on process evaluations, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives
- Use data analytics, reporting, automation, AI-enabled tools, and quantitative techniques to identify trends and communicate insights
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and visualizations communicating performance metrics, risks, trends, and opportunities
- Support governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen controls and operational effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- Strong learning agility and ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Process-centric mindset for understanding workflows, identifying inefficiencies, evaluating controls, and supporting improvements
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Risk management principles and sound judgment to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, process, compliance, and data-related risks
- Experience with data analytics, SQL, automation, AI, GenAI, process analysis, or related technologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of financial services, banking, risk management, operations, and governance
- Experience in regulated environments where data quality, risk management, controls, compliance, and operational resiliency are critical
