About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
  • Review and analyze portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
  • Support development of databases and queries to extract data
  • Support production of data for internal and external reporting needs
  • Work with Technology to implement changes supporting ongoing data needs
  • Support development and execution of reporting for Risk and business partners
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business
  • Participate in developing database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
  • Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
  • Evaluate business processes, data flows, and operational data to identify data integrity concerns, trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with business, risk, finance, operations, technology, and audit stakeholders on process evaluations, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives
  • Use data analytics, reporting, automation, AI-enabled tools, and quantitative techniques to identify trends and communicate insights
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and visualizations communicating performance metrics, risks, trends, and opportunities
  • Support governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and operational effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience operating in environments where data quality, risk management, controls, compliance, and operational resiliency are critical to business performance
  • Proficiency or experience with data analytics, SQL, automation, AI, GenAI, process analysis, or related technologies
  • Understanding of financial services, banking, risk management, operations, and governance
  • Ability to evaluate end-to-end workflows, identify inefficiencies, evaluate controls, and support operational improvements
  • Ability to use analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving techniques to evaluate complex data flows, identify risks, and uncover insights
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, process, compliance, and data-related risks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results
  • Attention to detail
  • Skills in business intelligence, data and trend analysis, risk analytics, risk management, data visualization, project management, issue management, regulatory relations, stakeholder management, and technical documentation
  • Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
  • Availability for 40 hours per week
