About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
  • Review and analyze portfolio trends
  • Support development of complex databases or queries to extract data
  • Support production of data for internal and external reporting needs
  • Work with Technology to implement changes supporting ongoing data needs
  • Develop and execute reporting that enables Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk
  • Analyze trends, data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
  • Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business
  • Participate in development of database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
  • Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
  • Evaluate business processes, data flows, and operational data to identify data integrity and quality concerns, trends, anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders across business, risk, finance, operations, technology, and audit functions
  • Leverage data analytics, reporting, automation, AI-enabled tools, and quantitative techniques
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and visualizations communicating performance metrics, risks, trends, and opportunities
  • Support governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen controls and operational effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results
  • Understanding of financial services, banking, risk management, operations, and governance
  • Experience operating in environments where data quality, risk management, controls, compliance, and operational resiliency are critical to business performance

  • Experience with data analytics, SQL, automation, AI, GenAI, process analysis, or related technologies
