About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
  • Review and analyze portfolio trends
  • Support development of databases or queries to extract data
  • Support production of data for internal and external reporting needs
  • Work with Technology to implement changes supporting ongoing data needs
  • Support development and execution of reporting for Risk and business partners
  • Analyze trends, data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
  • Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business
  • Participate in development of database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
  • Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
  • Report to the GRM Data Governance Head
  • Support DSM day-to-day operations, including progress tracking, annual initiative, resourcing, and funding planning
  • Manage GRM data commitments to internal and external parties, monitor progress, and escalate execution risks
  • Prepare and present GRM data strategy vision to senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders
  • Identify data process optimization opportunities and promulgate leading practices
  • Oversee maintenance of GRM-wide data management procedures
  • Ensure GRM data-related initiatives align with DSM strategy
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communication plans
  • Establish and execute a DSM Employee Engagement action plan
  • Maintain the GRM DSM Operational Excellence/SIM portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrates understanding of data and technology
  • Understanding of data regulations, compliance and risk environment in financial services
  • Ability to drive program execution through disciplined oversight with right assignment of accountabilities
  • Successful delivery in a cross functional team environment in financial services, including business, technology, compliance and risk
  • Ability to navigate effectively across different levels of the enterprise and external stakeholders
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize data strategy and shape detailed solutions with quants, technologists and business teammates
  • Ability to adjust communication styles to explain complex issues to a broad audience
  • Strong influencing and partnership skills, including with senior FLU and Risk leaders
  • Ability to develop strategic solutions broadly across Risk
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a large, complex organization, preferably within the financial industry
  • 40 hours per week
  • First shift (United States of America)
