About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform analytical requests, reporting and analysis, and assist with modeling activities to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
- Develop and execute reporting to help risk and business partners identify and manage risk
- Identify trends and manage data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
- Participate in strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business
- Facilitate database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
- Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
- Manage control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
- Lead complex analyses of business processes, data flows, and operational controls
- Partner with business, risk, finance, operations, technology, and audit stakeholders
- Develop insights, reporting, and visualizations for stakeholders and leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teammates
- Drive governance, issue remediation, process improvement, automation, and sustainable operational improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience operating in regulated environments where data quality, risk management, controls, compliance, and operational resiliency are critical
