About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform analytical requests, reporting and analysis, and assist with modeling activities to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
- Oversee portfolio trends, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and data design
- Develop datasets and queries to extract data
- Develop and execute reporting for risk and business partners
- Participate in product strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business
- Facilitate database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
- Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
- Manage control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
- Transform complex data into actionable insights supporting risk management, strategic decision-making, and executive reporting
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions for strategic decision-making and regulatory objectives
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data, reporting, and analytical solutions
- Collaborate with business partners and senior leaders to define analytical requirements and deliver recommendations
- Drive process improvements and operational effectiveness
- Leverage Bank-approved AI tools and emerging technologies to improve analytical efficiency and deliver innovative solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, including Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced analytical techniques, statistical models, and large-scale data analysis
- Tableau and data visualization tools
- Expert SQL development
- Large-scale data management and data transformation
- Data architecture and data modeling
- Data science tools and machine learning capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Automation skills
- Business intelligence, issue management, project management, risk management, stakeholder management, technical documentation, data and trend analysis, performance management, and regulatory relations
- Ability to leverage Bank-approved AI tools responsibly while adhering to governance, risk, and compliance standards
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts through clear written, verbal, and visual storytelling
- First shift availability; 40 hours per week
