About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform analytical requests, reporting and analysis, and assist with modeling activities to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
  • Oversee portfolio trends and develop data sets or queries to extract data
  • Support internal and external reporting needs
  • Develop and execute reporting to help risk and business partners identify and manage risk
  • Manage data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics
  • Participate in product strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business
  • Facilitate database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Coordinate cross-functional remediation of data quality issues
  • Manage control outputs and investigate alerts from control checks
  • Lead complex analyses of business processes, data flows, and operational controls
  • Partner with business, risk, finance, operations, technology, and audit stakeholders
  • Leverage data analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and quantitative methodologies
  • Develop and deliver insights, reporting, and visualizations
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teammates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience operating in regulated environments where data quality, risk management, controls, compliance, and operational resiliency are critical
