About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define enterprise AI architecture vision, roadmaps, and target-state capabilities
Work across business, operations, and technology to create solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions
Prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog supporting the technology roadmap
Contribute to architecture roadmaps across Business, Application, Data, and Technology domains
Clarify architecture and assist with system design to support implementation
Provide solution options to resolve architectural impediments
Facilitate solution-driven discussions and lead the design of complex architectures
Develop solution designs, architecture blueprints, and reusable reference patterns
Partner with business, product, engineering, data, risk, and security teams
Lead architecture for GenAI, agentic workflows, intelligent copilots, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, models, and vendors and provide architecture recommendations
Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
Define non-functional requirements for scalability, resiliency, observability, security, performance, and responsible AI controls
Perform design and code reviews
Collaborate with engineering teams from ideation through production deployment
Educate and mentor architects and engineers on AI architecture patterns, technology strategy, and solution design best practices
Support proof-of-concepts, innovation initiatives, and rapid experimentation
Help select technology stacks and preferred technology products

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Technology Strategy
Experience leading large-scale AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or Intelligent Automation initiatives
Deep understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI architectures
Machine Learning lifecycle management
AI governance and responsible AI practices
Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and API-driven architectures
Strong understanding of data architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms, and integration patterns
Experience conducting architecture reviews and defining target-state technology strategies
Ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex technical concepts to executive audiences
Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and consulting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with cloud-native services including Kubernetes, serverless platforms, and containerized architectures
Familiarity with AI platform services such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Databricks, or equivalent technologies
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or comparable solutions
Experience within financial services, banking, risk, compliance, or regulated industries
Software engineering background with proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages
