About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for financial center clients
  • Uncover personal banking needs of individual and small business clients
  • Offer appropriate banking solutions and connect clients to specialists
  • Deepen client relationships through platform services
  • Support clients with self-service and transactional activities
  • Educate and train clients on simple transactions through self-service technologies
  • Partner with teams to provide consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies
  • Leverage resources, technologies, and processes to optimize client experience and operational accuracy
  • Perform account opening, account maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping in accordance with established processes, laws, and guidelines
  • Manage client interactions while meeting regulatory requirements
  • Conduct outbound calls and consistent follow-up routines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of one year demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results
  • Collaborates effectively to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationships
  • Passion, commitment and drive to improve clients’ financial lives
  • Ability to identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with all clients, in person and by phone
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and changing circumstances
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Commissioned notary, or ability to successfully obtain a notary commission in the state of employment within a few months of starting
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours, including at any financial center within a reasonable distance
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or a related field preferred
  • Experience in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded preferred
  • Retail and/or sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment preferred
  • Experience with financial information, spreadsheets and financial skills preferred
  • Knowledge of banking products and services preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and laptop technology preferred
