About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment supporting Client Operational Services
- Monitor and test controls by evaluating data, identifying issues, and recommending improvements
- Implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance practices
- Conduct and coordinate quality inspection reviews
- Execute QA activities, including controls, case management, and results reporting
- Identify testing automation opportunities, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities
- Support regulatory exams, internal audits, monitoring, and inspection reviews
- Create, maintain, and govern SPI documentation for processes, risks, controls, and metrics in enterprise systems including POP and Key Measures/ORCIT
- Guide Process Owners and Delegates through process design, updates, and enrichment
- Lead and manage SPI change initiatives driven by policy, standards, and regulatory changes
- Support Audit and Risk inquiries, assess findings, and assist with remediation
- Investigate, respond to, and remediate GCOR issues with Process Owners, Compliance/Risk, and Business Controls
- Prepare stakeholder communications, management reports, and executive-ready presentations
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Co-Pilot, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for analysis, reporting, and documentation
- May manage associates and perform managerial responsibilities including coaching, talent development, risk management, and business outcome delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of process engineer, process design, risk management, financial center, or business control experience
- Working knowledge of process management frameworks, including process mapping, risk and control identification, and metrics alignment
- Experience with SPI and the Process Owner Portal (POP), including documentation standards and governance expectations
- Strong understanding of operational, regulatory, and reputational risk
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project and change management capabilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across FLU, Risk, Compliance, and Audit partners
- High attention to detail and quality
- Minimum education: HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Knowledge of Enterprise Process Management Policy and Standard
- Ability to document process flows, including activities, risks, controls, and metrics
- Executive communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Critical thinking and logical problem-solving ability
