About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support originating new asset based lending credit facilities for companies $50MM+ in revenue
  • Acquire profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships
  • Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal bank partners to deliver asset based lending solutions to clients and prospects
  • Lead and facilitate dialogue with complex clients and prospects on industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues
  • Develop leadership skills through coaching and mentoring from peers
  • Adapt to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions
  • Source new financing opportunities and lead deal teams through transaction analysis, approval, and execution phases
  • Work on sole lender, club, and widely syndicated ABL transactions
  • Develop external referral networks and internal referral networks with relationship managers and credit product partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Direct experience interacting at the CEO, CFO and MD level
  • Five+ years of experience in ABL Lending
  • Strong oral, written and analytical/credit skills
  • Ability to travel for in-person meetings
  • FINRA 7, 63 licenses (if not currently licensed, must be completed within 180 days of start date)
  • Completion of a bank credit training program desired
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Majors in business, finance or economics preferred
  • MBA desirable or equivalent experience
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1st shift (United States of America)
