About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key individual contributor to Quality Assurance project teams within Technology and Operations and/or lines of business
Ensure standard quality practices and processes are followed
Assist senior business and IT management in determining current and future development direction
Recommend technology innovations that enhance or provide competitive advantage
Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on critical business objectives
Lead end-to-end testing efforts supporting Trade Finance initiatives
Develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases
Identify, document, track, and validate defect resolution using approved defect management tools
Analyze business requirements, process flows, APIs, and data mappings to ensure complete test coverage
Support release validation, production verification testing, and post-implementation monitoring
Maintain traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects
Maintain testing evidence and documentation for audit, risk, and regulatory requirements
Mentor junior QA associates and provide testing leadership across multiple concurrent projects
Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous process improvement initiatives
Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to validate requirements and acceptance criteria
Execute and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience
Trade Finance domain experience: Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Trade Operations, Trade Processing
Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution metrics
Experience supporting Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Hands-on experience with JIRA, Octane/ALM, or other test management tools
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into testable scenarios
Experience performing Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Commercial Lending, or Treasury/Trade environments is desired
Loan IQ experience, including testing of Trade Finance and Commercial Lending functionality, is desired
Ability to lead offshore/onshore testing coordination activities is desired
