About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support review of systems, processes, data and controls impacting AML Customer Risk Assessment activities across Consumer, Global Banking, Global Markets and Wealth Management
- Identify and advise on Customer Risk Assessment issues and monitor resolution
- Support remediation of disparate risk ratings for duplicate customers and other identified issues across all lines of business
- Develop understanding of end-to-end systems, data and business processes relating to Customer Risk Assessment
- Identify associated risks and controls
- Develop and support Customer Risk Assessment data reporting and analysis
- Promote collaboration across business, operations, technology and compliance teams
- Work with Business, Global Financial Crimes, Operations and Technology partners on Global AML Operations activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, including minimum 3 years of direct experience with systems, data and processes supporting Financial Crimes programs
- Advanced data analytics and data management skills
- Ability to extract, integrate and analyze large datasets from multiple databases and systems
- SQL, Teradata, Alteryx, Tableau and Excel proficiency
- Experience partnering with business, operations, technology and compliance stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to synthesize analyses into executive-level messages and recommendations
- Ability to assess Financial Crimes risks using business knowledge, system understanding and data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Data Science, or equivalent certifications (desired)
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
