About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support review of systems, processes, data and controls impacting AML Customer Risk Assessment activities
  • Identify and advise on Customer Risk Assessment issues and monitor resolution
  • Support remediation of disparate risk ratings for duplicate customers across all lines of business
  • Develop understanding of end-to-end systems, data and business processes relating to Customer Risk Assessment
  • Identify associated risks and controls
  • Develop and support Customer Risk Assessment data reporting and analysis
  • Promote collaboration across business, operations, technology and compliance teams
  • Support varied Customer Risk Assessment activities within Global AML Operations
  • Partner with Business, Global Financial Crimes, Operations and Technology stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Crimes
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience with systems, data and processes supporting Financial Crimes programs
  • Advanced data analytics and data management skills
  • Ability to extract, integrate and analyze large datasets from multiple databases and systems
  • Proficiency with SQL, Teradata, Alteryx, Tableau and Excel
  • Experience partnering with business, operations, technology and compliance stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results with limited supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate complex financial crimes requirements, data relationships and business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to synthesize analyses into concise, executive-level messages and recommendations
  • Ability to assess Financial Crimes risks using business knowledge, system understanding and data analysis
  • Ability to provide practical recommendations balancing regulatory requirements, risk management objectives and business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Data Science, or equivalent certifications (desired)
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
