About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and lead the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes
- Deliver complex features and technology while enabling development efficiencies
- Provide technical and operational leadership for business-critical technology services
- Own service health, reliability, resiliency, performance, and continuous improvement across supported applications and infrastructure
- Lead end-to-end service delivery and production support for applications, platforms, and infrastructure services
- Manage availability, reliability, resiliency, capacity, performance, and operational risk
- Act as senior escalation point for high-priority incidents, coordinating triage, communications, recovery, and post-incident reviews
- Drive root-cause analysis and completion of corrective and preventive actions
- Lead incident, problem, change, release, defect, and service-review activities
- Define and improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, support models, and operational-readiness requirements
- Partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams on supportable and resilient technology solutions
- Promote automation, continuous integration and delivery, observability, and DevOps practices
- Assess production impacts of changes and releases and coordinate implementation and validation
- Maintain compliance with access, audit, security, regulatory, and administrative requirements
- Track service-level objectives, key performance indicators, risks, dependencies, and improvement commitments
- Mentor team members, provide technical direction, support interviewing and onboarding, and foster accountability and continuous learning
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver timely, high-quality service outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in technology service delivery, technology support, site reliability, infrastructure operations, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated leadership of complex, business-critical services in a large-scale or regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, change, release, capacity, availability, and service-level management
- Experience with monitoring, observability, automation, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, make sound decisions under pressure, and coordinate resolution across multiple teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical risks and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences
- Experience managing risk, controls, audit requirements, and technology governance processes
- Proven ability to mentor others, influence without direct authority, and build productive relationships across business, technology, and vendor teams
- Experience such as ITIL, cloud, DevOps, site reliability engineering, Agile, or project management
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with cloud and on-premises technology environments, distributed systems, and enterprise application support
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, Dynatrace, GitHub, Jenkins, or comparable platforms
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing, deployment orchestration, and disaster-recovery practices
- Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
