About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement business strategy through platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment
  • Identify customer needs and design and validate concepts
  • Develop business cases and manage vendor negotiations and relationships
  • Partner with technology to analyze and write Business and Functional Requirements documentation
  • Manage platform development initiatives to a budget
  • Coordinate communications with Marketing and Training
  • Coordinate business and Beta testers and implement deliverables
  • Maintain subject matter expertise for platform functionality
  • Resolve chronic service delivery or platform issues
  • Serve as primary liaison with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors
  • Hire, manage, train, and develop platform development managers
  • Define and maintain operational technology strategy supporting process transformation objectives
  • Translate operational workflows into normalized Process Objects
  • Align business needs to enterprise capabilities and maintain process and capability taxonomies
  • Enable horizontal solutions across business functions
  • Facilitate translation between operational SMEs, process design teams, enterprise architecture, and technology partners
  • Evaluate operational needs, identify reusable capability patterns, develop enterprise knowledge capture assets, and support future-state solution design

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Defines and maintains Business Objects
  • Experience in process integration, operations, or technology enablement
  • Experience collaborating well and influencing senior executives
  • Background in agile delivery and software testing
  • Ability to communicate fluently across business and technology domains
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • 40 hours per week
  • Preferred: Background in Computer Science, Data Science, enterprise architecture, or related capability
  • Preferred: MBA and/or 5+ years of relevant experience leading technology change within an operation
