About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate the product vision and roadmap aligned with business or technology strategy
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and teams and drive user adoption
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and align priorities
- Prioritize and create work for multiple teams with cross-functional partners
- Create, prioritize, and refine product backlog stories
- Review and accept stories and make scope and requirements decisions
- Partner with teams to maximize value from technology and subject-matter expertise
- Improve developer experience and enable efficient delivery of industry-leading solutions with appropriate controls
- Advance technology platforms through innovation
- Reduce risk and improve quality by aligning to enterprise architecture and governance standards
- Lead portfolio strategy, prioritization, design process, and execution for the AI/SDLC program
- Shape enterprise software delivery platforms and capabilities while balancing customer needs, governance, operating model effectiveness, and business value
- Lead user experience and design for the program or portfolio, establishing design goals and providing guidance and feedback
- Facilitate innovation, design thinking, and design studio workshops
- Align cross-functional stakeholders and drive portfolio decisions to deliver scalable, standardized, high-impact capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience leading UX, service design, or experience strategy for complex enterprise platforms, focused on internal technical users
- Success defining platform strategy and portfolio roadmaps across multiple teams or lines of business
- Experience in enterprise prioritization, governance, and investment tradeoff decisions within regulated environments
- Ability to drive executive influence across technology leaders, engineering teams, risk partners, and business stakeholders
- Ability to define and execute holistic experience visions across end-to-end SDLC workflows
- Experience establishing and scaling enterprise design systems, UX standards, and interaction patterns
- Deep expertise in developer experience principles
- Capability in design thinking, service design, and facilitation, including structured workshops
- Success translating customer insight and user research into product decisions and measurable adoption outcomes
- Experience integrating UX into Agile and enterprise delivery models
- Ability to define and measure usability, adoption, task efficiency, satisfaction, and productivity metrics
- Strong understanding of AI-driven user experiences, including human-in-the-loop patterns, transparency, explainability, workflow augmentation versus automation, trust, and control
- Ability to balance UX standardization with flexibility
- Demonstrated influence elevating UX as a strategic differentiator
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Advanced degree or equivalent executive leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of Agile Practices, Solution Delivery Process, Technical Strategy Development, DevOps Practices, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Application Development, Data Management, Financial Management, and Solution Design
