About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical fiduciary tax expertise to Private Bank client teams
  • Support differentiated client service and expand client relationships
  • Provide accurate and timely tax reporting for accounts
  • Use product knowledge to address client needs
  • Conduct research to resolve tax issues and advise on transaction treatment and technical matters
  • Ensure assigned accounts are fulfilled to achieve client service standards
  • Review and prepare complex federal and state fiduciary income tax returns
  • Comply with bank standards and policies, federal and state tax law, and client service standards
  • Serve as a tax technical resource for Fiduciary Tax Service associates and Private Bank client teams
  • Develop and deliver technical or systems-related tax training to the tax department
  • Serve as the point of contact for tax questions and inquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of tax experience
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Technical fiduciary tax expertise
  • Experience reviewing and preparing complex federal and state fiduciary income tax returns
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax law
  • Ability to interpret relevant laws, rules, and regulations
  • Account management
  • Attention to detail
