Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and lead teams delivering technology products and services aligned with business outcomes
  • Develop technology strategy and ensure solutions comply with applicable standards
  • Lead global teams providing proactive response and service restoration for enterprise data networks and related services
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Define and own the data network operations strategy aligned with business, risk, and technology roadmaps
  • Advance automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce manual effort and improve network reliability
  • Implement AI-driven runbooks, self-healing workflows, and intelligent incident routing
  • Identify workload reduction, automation, and process simplification opportunities
  • Design and implement a modern operating model integrating NOC, SRE, and automation capabilities, including follow-the-sun support
  • Track and improve operational KPIs including MTTD, MTTR, change success rates, incident volumes, and automation coverage
  • Foster a blameless, learning-oriented culture emphasizing reliability, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Upskill the organization in automation, AI, data literacy, and modern network technologies
  • Manage workforce strategy, hiring practices, performance, career development, coaching, and employee training
  • Manage production solution delivery, application performance, resiliency, security, data management standards, audits, risk, financial, and compliance policies
  • Manage relationships with business and technology partners, suppliers, architecture, engineering, product management, and business management
  • Demonstrate inclusion leadership, process and data management, enterprise communication, risk management, financial stewardship, talent leadership, and business outcome delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years in large-scale network operations, infrastructure engineering, or related domains
  • At least 7+ years in senior leadership roles in complex, multi-vendor, regulated enterprises
  • Proven track record leading global 24x7 follow-the-sun operations teams and major incident management for mission-critical environments
  • Expert-level experience with routing and switching, firewalls, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, NAC, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, NHRP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, ACL, and VPN
  • Experience with SDN, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and Arista CloudVision
  • Experience with SD-WAN; Cloudgenix and Cisco preferred
  • Experience with WAN, MAN, LAN, optical networking, routing, switching, firewall, proxy/threat prevention, DDI, load balancing, and AAA
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, Lean, and DevOps frameworks and philosophies
  • Strong business partnership skills
  • Ability to summarize complex issues into executive summaries
  • Willingness to work irregular hours based on the global operating model and client locations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify gaps, challenge constructively, and drive risk remediation
  • Knowledge of regulatory risk management in Technology and Information Security
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline is desired
  • Relevant industry certifications in network technologies are desired
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is desired
  • ITIL/Agile certification is desired
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
