About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to inbound calls into the SOACC Command Center
  • Document engagement reports pertaining to physical security incidents
  • Monitor and respond to security system alerts
  • Manage access to monitored facilities in line with standards
  • Organize and manage information flows between reporting parties and the incident management system
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality and accessibility
  • Provide initial and elevated response to emergencies and critical incidents
  • Coordinate support between reporting parties, teammates, law enforcement and vendors
  • Participate in training support activities
  • Identify process improvements by relaying lessons learned
  • Participate in complex projects supporting quality assurance and process enhancements
  • Provide administrative and logistical support
  • Monitor and manage alarm and video systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Experience in handling crisis situations calmly and effectively
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately identify issues, implement effective resolutions and/or make recommendations to appropriately elevate to senior management
  • Ability to rapidly analyze complex alarm and incident information
  • Proficient operational knowledge of SOACC systems as technology advances
  • High degree of professionalism with a service-minded attitude
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm or better
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to work 1st shift (6:30am–3pm EST), with flexibility to work across shifts, including potential nights/weekends as needed
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
