About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to story refinement and define requirements
Participate in and guide work estimation through the delivery lifecycle
Perform spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Code solutions and unit test against acceptance and compliance requirements
Design and develop solutions using multiple architectural components
Assist with resolving technical complexities
Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers
Maintain automated integration, regression, and performance test suites
Set up and develop continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
Automate manual release activities
Mentor Software Engineers and coach the team on CI/CD practices and tool-stack automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java, J2EE, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JBoss, Oracle, and Copilot
Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, or Powermock
Proficiency in Eclipse, Git/BitBucket, Maven, Jenkins, and SonarQube
Understanding of application design patterns and object-oriented programming
Experienced in Spring Batch
Experienced with relational databases and SQL scripting
Experienced with Splunk and Dynatrace
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
