About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to Specialized Fiduciary Officers, Settlement Officers, Managers, and the National Trust Settlement Director
- Coordinate information and activities with internal partners including ART, Compliance, Fiduciary Tax Services, SAM, Trust Operations, and Tax
- Coordinate with external business partners including attorneys, CPAs, fiduciary accountants, and third-party vendors
- Manage smaller, less complex situations as appropriate
- Perform account maintenance, money movement, transactions, client verification, optical imaging, file retrieval, filing, copying, and ordering supplies
- Prepare, mail, and track settlement packets
- Make and answer telephone calls and respond to verbal and written inquiries
- Write routine letters and emails
- Act as a backup point of contact for clients, trust beneficiaries, and internal/external partners
- Participate in projects and conduct research, including research on previously closed accounts
- Prepare reports as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and prioritization
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and apply new technology and systems
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent minimum education requirement
- Paralegal experience/training preferred
- Prior trust, estate, or tax experience preferred
- 40 hours per week
- Must work in an in-office posture; work-from-home posture does not make internal employees eligible to post
